Your comfort, agency and safety come first.
1000 Petals offers unfamiliar experiences. Responsible practice means explaining them clearly, screening appropriately and making it easy for every guest to remain in control.
You remain in control
You remain aware during the experience. You can communicate with the facilitator and may ask to adjust, pause or stop the session at any time.
Every guest is screened
Some services are not suitable for everyone. You must complete the relevant screening honestly and update the team if anything changes before your appointment.
Consent is ongoing
Signing a form does not remove your right to change your mind. Consent is reconfirmed before the experience and can be withdrawn at any time.
Sessions are facilitated
You are not expected to operate unfamiliar equipment alone. Facilitation, supervision and privacy follow the approved operating procedure for each service.
Experiences vary
No particular visual, emotional, spiritual or relaxation response is guaranteed. A subtle or neutral experience is not a failure.
No medical promises
1000 Petals does not diagnose illness, treat disease, prescribe medication or replace doctors, psychologists or emergency care.
Conditions that may require exclusion or medical discussion
The final screening form is based on current manufacturer guidance and qualified professional advice. Conditions commonly requiring exclusion or discussion may include:
✦ A history of seizures or photosensitivity
✦ Pregnancy
✦ Implanted electrical devices.
✦ Active psychosis or acute mania
✦ Intoxication
✦ Other medical or psychiatric factors identified in the current device protocol.
When to seek medical care
Contact an appropriate healthcare professional if you have symptoms, medical questions or mental-health concerns requiring diagnosis or treatment. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
Privacy
Screening answers, Bio-Well reports and personal information are private. They are accessed only for legitimate service, safety and legal purposes under the published privacy policy.
Incident response
If a guest experiences discomfort or an unexpected response, the session is stopped or adjusted, the guest is grounded and the approved incident and escalation process is followed.
